2019 FIRST TEAM ALL-CIAA (COACHES): Wide Receiver Dajuan Greene, Elizabeth City State,...Greene currently leads the CIAA in receiving yards with 878 yards on 53 receptions averaging 16.6-yards per catch and 87.8-yards per game with a season long reception of 65-yards. The Washington, DC native received back to back CIAA Receiver of the Week Honors for his performances in weeks seven and eight. He recorded three consecutive 100+ yard games against Virginia State, Lincoln, and Chowan. Greene has led the conference in scoring and is currently tied with three of the top five leaders in the conference at 13 touchdowns on the season. According to Head Coach Anthony Jones, "One word describes him, " playmaker" no excuses he just makes big plays regardless of the coverage and situation. He has great hands and he uses them when he attacks the football. He is a very passionate player that loves the game and works hard to better himself.

"He never brings the spotlight to himself and always thinking about the team. He has been a pleasure to coach and he is the type of player you would love to build a program around as one of your center pieces. He plays with a great deal of excitement and he carries that excitement to other Viking events by cheering on his fellow Vikings. I am honored to have the chance to coach him, he will go down as one of the best Vikings to play the game. No one runs or catches a fade route like Dajuan." - Elizabeth City State Football

2019 FIRST TEAM ALL-CIAA (COACHES): Kick Returner Zion Riddick, Elizabeth City State,...Riddick has had a phenomenal year, amassing a total of 944 return yards for the special teams unit. That is 500 more yards than any special teams returner in the conference Zion is 56 yards away from reaching the 1,000-yard milestone on this season. "Zion Riddick, who I often refer to as "Little Bit" because of his lack of size but not due to his lack of heart and desire to compete. I tired to give the name to someone else but he said Coach I'm the only Little Bit and of course he was right and he has earned it and the respect of all his teammates and Coaches because of his efforts," shared Head Coach Anthony Jones. "I always knew he could run but when it comes to him returning kickoff's he is fearless and once he gets the ball the excitement begins. The entire team gets excited when he touches the ball because we all feel he can break it or provide us with a boost at any time. The Vikings are glad to have him on our side."

The sophomore has been the key to the Vikings special teams unit and an all-around athlete. The Ahoskie, N.C. native opened up the season with a 200-yard performance against Division I opponent Hampton University in the Battle of the Border in Hampton, VA. "I've always felt like I had to prove myself being smaller," shared Riddick. "I've showed that I can play at the highest level playing against big-time opponents." - Elizabeth City State Football
